デザイナーであるCarol Christian Poellは1966年、オーストリアのリンツに生まれテイラーを 営む父の影響でその技術を学ぶ。 オーストリア・グラーツでファッションデザインを、またヴェネチアの紳士ファッションコスチューム総合大学では 婦人服のテイラリングに関する学位を習得。ミラノのドムスアカデミーでもテイラリングを学んだ。イタリアでフリーランスデザイナーとして活動した後、パートナーのSergio Simone(セルジオ・シモン)と共にCAROL CHRISTIAN POELLを設立。その後1995年にメンズコレクション、1998年にはレディースコレクションを発表。2000 S/Sよりショーという形式だと芝居がかってしまうという理由から、展示会形式で作品を発表している。「フェティシズム」をコンセプトとする彼の作品は極めて理論的で未来志向型である。それらは緻密な計算の元に創作され、ベーシックでありながら前例のない全く新しい"物"を創り出す。培ったテイラーの技術を駆使し、膨大な時間と労力を費やし開発されるマテリアル。コンセプチュアル且つユニークな彼の作品は世界中のファンを魅了している。

In order to reduce any concerns about size, our staff measures all products manually.
