ernesto（エルネスト）は、イタリア・パルマの老舗ファクトリーブランド「GIANFRANCO BOMMEZZADRI（ジャンフランコボンメツァードリ）」が手がける1ブランドの一つ。2012年にジャンフランコの娘婿である“Enrico Mezzadri（エンリコ・メッザドリ）”と、イタリアリミニの名店「LACERBA（ラチェルバ）」のオーナー、“Vincenzo Riggiani（ヴィンツェンツォ・レッジャーニ）”が「遊びの効いた面白いジャケットを作ろう」と始めたブランド。オスカー・ワイルドの喜劇作品『エルネスト』。その遊びに富んだ内容が由来となった同ブランドは、カーディガンのような芯地のない一枚仕立てのジャケットにイタリア「FERLA」社のループヤーンをはじめ、個性的な素材を確かな仕立て技術によってリアルクローズへ体現しているのが特徴。他ブランドとは一線を画した独創性と遊びの効いたコレクションとなっています。
