Clarks is a long-established British boot brand. It is known as the oldest shoe brand still in existence in the UK. Its history began in 1825 when it was launched by brothers Cyrus and James Clark. Initially, the main product was sheepskin slippers, and after their success, Clarks began to pursue "shoes made of soft materials and with a soft feel". They are pioneers in creating ergonomic shoes. Later, in 1950, they reached a major turning point with the release of the world's first "desert boots", which became an explosive hit in the US.
