    A Testoni, known for having trained Stefano Branchini and Enzo Bonafe in shoemaking, was founded in 1929 in Bologna, Italy. The brand name is named after Amedeo Testoni, who was born into a family of shoemakers. A Testoni is known for its Bolognese method, which is said to involve a total of 177 steps, and is therefore synonymous with the Bolognese method.
