Takizawa Shigeru is a men's fashion brand created by Japanese designer Shigeru Takizawa. After graduating from Men's Fashion College (MFA) at the top of his class in 1986, Takizawa worked as a teacher at the same school, in product development at major apparel manufacturers and select shops, and in 2001 launched his own label, Takizawa Shigeru. The concept is "clothing that expresses etiquette for men." Shigeru Takizawa himself has deepened his understanding of the essence of clothing in medieval Western Europe and has brought it back to life in the modern era.
