CROCKETT & JONES, a representative British brand, is known throughout the world for its traditional methods and the highest level of quality. They continue to make shoes in their own factories, following the same policy since the company was founded. They have maintained traditional hand-made manufacturing methods, such as the Goodyear welt method, which takes about eight weeks to make a pair, and the waterproof belt-sawn method. A pair of shoes is made up of about 200 parts, including handmade wooden lasts and carefully selected soles. It is such an excellent product that it was awarded an award by Her Majesty the Queen in 1990.
