パラブーツ・リシャール=ポンヴェール株式会社（Paraboot Richard-Pontvert S.A.）の基幹ブランド。1919年、靴職人レミー・リシャール・ポンヴェールが、滞在先のアメリカで入手した1足のラバーで覆われたブーツとともにフランスに帰国。その靴をヒントに、ブラジルのパラ港から輸入されていた天然ラテックスを底材に使用した靴を作り始める。ブランド名に輸出港の名を取って「パラブーツ」と命名。そのパラゴムを原料として独自のゴム合成法を開発。堅牢かつ履き心地の良いオリジナルのラバーソールの靴は、ワークシューズとして高い支持を得る。現在ではワークシューズの他、ビジネスシューズ、アウトドアシューズ、ドライビングシューズ、サンダルなど、さまざまな種類のシューズを展開し、フランスを代表するブランドのひとつとなっている。代表作、「シャンボード」（CHAMBORD）は特に有名。
