カルミナは(CARMINA)スペインの高級既製靴ブランドです。1998年、ホセ・アルバラデホ(Jose Albaladejo)が、より高いレベルで靴の生産を追求するために「カルミナ」を設立。ホセ・アルバラデホの家系は、スペインのマヨルカにて、19世紀から同族企業として靴の製造を続けるメーカー。20世紀中ごろまで「Sansons」というブランドを運営していました。ホセは、1961年高級靴ブランド、ヤンコ(YANKO)を創立し、80年代には100万足の靴を生産、一族の靴製造のビジネスを飛躍的に成長させていました。90年代に入り、よりクオリティの高いシューズを作りたいと考え、新しいブランドを立ち上げることを決意。98年、カルミナを設立しました。カルミナはすぐにそのクオリティの高さが認められ、多くの顧客に支持されました。
