モンテドーロ（Montedoro）は1958年に設立され、この時代はMade In Italyの黄金期とされていた時代で、1990年代の初頭までFerrario一族がモンテドーロを率いていました。モンテドーロはPitti UomoのSala Biancaにコレクションを出品し、ジョルジオ・アルマーニ、ウォルター・アルビーニ、ジャンフランコ・フェレ、エンリコ・コベリおよびラウラ・ビアジョッティなどといったデザイナー達に貢献してきました。新しいモンテドーロプロジェクトはIndustrie Confezioni Tessili S.P.Aの興味を引き、2002年にはそのグループの一員となりました。そして、商品カテゴリーを変える事無く"ウィークエンドとは一線を画す週の5日間"の為のアウターウェアーのコンセプトを打ち出しました。モンテドーロは現在メンズウェアーだけでなくユニセックスコレクションにも着手しており、また、I.C.Tの流通経路によってイタリアだけではなく、フランス、イギリスおよび日本でもご覧になることが出来ます。現在ではスローウェア・グループを牽引するアウターブランドとして成長しています。
