「デュベティカ(DUVETICA)」はイタリアのダウンウェアのブランド。デュベティカの創業者で社長のジャンピエロ・バリアーノ(Giampiero Vagliano)は、もともとダウンジャケットで有名なモンクレールの社長として活躍後、2002年に独立。イタリア、ベニス近郊のモリアーノ ベネトで創業しました。ブランド名の由来は、フランス語でダウンの意味がある「デュベ(DUVET)」と、イタリア語で倫理・道徳を意味する「エティカ(ETICA)」を組み合わせた造語。ダウンジャケットで最も重要となるダウン素材は、100％フランス産。ペリゴールを中心とした南仏地方で最高級のフォアグラ用に飼育されている「グレーグース」のダウンから、デュベティカは、最も上質な部分だけを使用しています。縫製も欧州内のダウンジャケットにおける最高レベルの技術が保証された工場を選択しています。ブランド設立からまもなく、その品質の高さとデザイン性から人気が出て、日本でもダウンウェアの人気ブランドとなっています。
