BATONER is a Japanese knitwear brand. It was started by Okuyama Meriyasu Factory, a limited company established in 1951 in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture. The third-generation owner, Kohei Okuyama, utilized his experience in knitwear at Okuyama Meriyasu and his experience in planning at an apparel company to launch BATONER as a factory brand in 2013. The OEM division manufactures and wholesales products for various brands.
