ANSNAM is a brand launched by Yasushi Nakano in 2006. It is a brand that produces items on a custom basis. While custom-made suits are mainstream, ANSNAM is a rare brand in Japan that produces custom-made casual wear. The trigger for ordering casual wear was a visit to Saville Row in England where he learned techniques there. Before founding ANSNAM, Nakano traveled to 30 countries to experience various cultural styles and traditional clothing, and learned handmade techniques while experiencing ethnic costumes and crafts. He creates items inspired by fabrics and materials, and offers designs that are suitable for the material. Designer Yasushi Nakano has a history of working as an assistant and production manager at sacai, so he has high tailoring skills, and you can feel the high level of skill from the items sold. Handmade items are produced by craftsmen with high skills in materials, patterns, tailoring techniques, sewing, etc. The greatest appeal of Ansnam is not only the high level of craftsmanship that can be felt in each item, but also the fact that each item is made to order and is one of a kind in the world, means that you will grow attached to it and continue to use it for a long time.
