Founded in 1965 in Montegranaro, Marche, known as the mecca of Italian shoes. The shoe brand was started by the Fabbi brothers. The older brother designs, his wife draws the patterns, and the younger brother and his wife sew. It is a family-run brand. Fabbi is expanding steadily, and in its 12th year since its founding, it completed a new 12,000 square meter building in Monte San Giusto, the neighboring town of Montegranaro. In 2004, it built an even larger 15,000 square meter building, and in 2008, it brought up-and-coming shoe brands such as Mare and Barracuda under its umbrella. As of 2015, it has 340 employees and opened a directly managed store in Rome in addition to its home base in Monte San Giusto. In 2016, it also landed in Japan, and with an export ratio of 70%, it has established an unshakable position as a luxury brand in the world. Fabbi excels in the creativity and innovation reflected in its shoes. While continuing the tradition of high-quality shoemaking that values handcrafting, the company is known for being one of the first in the Marche region to introduce automatic leather cutting machines. They have leather designers and cutting craftsmen, and they control computer-generated designs in-house, so the finished shoes have a handmade feel, but also have punchy colors and are easy to wear right from the start. Each shoe comes with a tag with the name of the shoemaker and the last number, proving the brand's confidence.
