This checked patterned coat is made of wool-like fabric with a dry touch and a slightly crisp feel. The lining and other secondary materials are kept to a minimum, making it very light and comfortable to wear, and it is a simple item that can be easily incorporated into a variety of outfits.

■ BRAND

Montedoro was founded in 1958, during the golden age of Made In Italy, and the Ferrario family led the company until the early 1990s. Montedoro exhibited its collections at the Sala Bianca of Pitti Uomo and contributed to designers such as Giorgio Armani, Walter Albini, Gianfranco Ferre, Enrico Coveri and Laura Biagiotti. The new Montedoro project attracted the interest of Industrie Confezioni Tessili SPA, which became part of the group in 2002. The company developed the concept of outerwear for the "5 days of the week, not the weekend", without changing the product category. Montedoro is now working on unisex collections as well as menswear, and is available not only in Italy, but also in France, the UK and Japan, thanks to the ICT distribution channel. It is now growing as the leading outerwear brand of the Slowwear Group.
