About the product

This double-breasted 4B suit is made of dry-touch wool fabric. It has a classic British design with a structured shoulder line and wide pants. It is a versatile piece that can be worn separately.

Condition details: There is dirt on the lining of the armpits, dirt that seems to be sebum or urine on the lining of the crotch, scratches and wrinkles on the surface. There is a trace of the name erased on the quality label, and the name is embroidered on the inside.

Hawkes, a long-established hat manufacturer founded in 1771 and a supplier to the British Royal Family and the Army for over 200 years, and Gieves, a famous naval tailor founded in 1785, merged in 1975 to establish Gieves & Hawkes in Saville Row, London, where Hawkes had a store. In addition to producing uniforms for the Army, Navy, and Air Force, they also produced uniforms for public schools, blending into British upper class society and becoming one of the most beloved brands by the British people. Gieves, the predecessor of Gieves, began making ready-to-wear in 1926, and also started the "personal tailoring system" which is a cross between bespoke and ready-to-wear. Hawkes also has a long history with the Royal Family, and in the early 19th century, Hawkes was the maker of velvet hats for George III and Empress Charlotte. All of the clothes worn by Prince Edward and Prince Albert, sons of George V, were made by Gieves. The company has also produced robes for the coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II and uniforms for Prince Charles' wedding celebrations, and has built up a long history and tradition that has earned the company widespread trust.

In order to reduce any concerns about size, our staff measures all products manually.
