Johnstons of Elgin was founded in 1797 in Elgin, located in the northeast of Scotland. The Johnston and Harrison families have been involved in the business for over 200 years, and the company continues to produce fabrics, scarves, home furnishings, and other items using high-quality materials such as cashmere, vicuna, merino wool, lambswool, and camel hair. Even today, the company is a rare manufacturer in the UK with an integrated production facility that handles everything from carefully selecting raw wool to spinning, weaving, and knitting.
