イギリスのコードウェイナーズ大学卒業後の1987年、 パンクブームまっただ中のロンドンにクリストファーネメスと共にロンドンストリート史に語り継がれる伝説のショップ、"ハウス・オブ・ビューティー・アンド・カルチャー"をオープン。 イーストロンドンの外れにあるスタンフォードに隠れ家的に作ったショップで、名だたるデザイナーから新人アーティストまでが足蹴く通ってくる通好みなショップ。80年代ロンドンのアンダーグラウンドファッションを牽引してきたデザイナーの一人と言えます。 1989年に若くしてこの世を去りますが、彼のデザイン・思想に影響を受けたデザイナーは多岐に渡ります。 中でもトゥのパッチとストラップデザインが個性的なブーツは彼の代表的の一つです。
