"MARIA SANTANGELO" was founded in Naples in 1953 by Ms. Maria Santangelo. Ms. Maria has been involved in shirt making since her grandmother's generation and faithfully follows the craftsmanship of those days. Currently, there are only one or two factories in Naples other than "Maria Santangelo" that carry out the entire process from the fabric entering the factory to the shirt being boxed and shipped from the same factory, making it a rare presence. Even at over 70 years old, Ms. Maria still does not wear glasses and cuts the fabric without relying on large machines, which is fascinating. Currently, the company is run by her children who have inherited her techniques and about 30 craftsmen.
