1990年デザイナーをつとめる高橋盾（タカハシジュン）が文化服装学院に在学中、友人と立ち上げた日本のファッションブランド。アンダーカバーのデザインは、どこか音を感じさせるようなパンクさがあり、それに共感した若者を中心に、カルト的な人気を誇った。高橋は「見たことがあるようで、誰も見たことのない、ノイズを感じる服をつくりたい」と言っており、流行や定番にたいする反逆心を、アンダーカバーのプロダクトに落とし込んでいる。
